A lot of women are indignant now that the shoe is increasingly on the other foot. They seem to feel that "What's yours is ours, but what's mine is mine." All these years women have been looking for equality; well, now they have it and this is what it looks like. Wives are now the primary breadwinners in one-third of all marriages, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and are more susceptible to paying alimony. Women get more indignant and angrier about having to pay than men do.
Mission Statement
In order to understand what has happened to men for many years, this blog will be presenting news articles and copies of actual email comments from women who have been court-ordered to pay alimony to men.
They now are feeling the same pain as the men and don't like it. When injustices prevail that affect men and women equally and generate the same emotional responses, then that should tell you that something is wrong with the system and the archaic alimony laws need to be changed to reflect the realities of todays society.
Resulting from these realizations of injustice, a Marriage Strike is now occurring across this nation and in other countries. As it continues and grows, it portends an ominous future for the institution of marriage.
